How's the paint holding up? It looks like you have kids - are there issues with marks on the wall? This is sweet!

I have a lot of great nices and nephews! The paint is holding up great although there are a couple marks. However, I have some paint left over for touchup when needed. Thanks for the compliment!

Nice to see Nemo filling up the whole screen. What about when you watch movies that are greater that 16x9, like 2:35 widesreen movies? I'm assuming you have a 720p (16x9) projector. Is it ceiling mounted?
Thanks

Hey SonnyR,
a 2:35 leaves 6" bars at the top and bottom of the screen. Still looks good. The projector can zoom in so that the bars are gone but you miss about a foot off each side of the screen. The projector is a Panasonic PT-AE700U, native 720p.

Thanks Marc. We have the same projector - isn't awesome! haven't changed the lamp yet (i know they're $$$$). made our 3-car garage into an entertainment/play/study room. i didn't really use any special paint on the wall but i may use it on the one wall, but for now, it's just fine.

The finished screen provides deaper greys and blacks while providing bright colors. Not bad for $30.00 in paint, $30.00 for the frame, and $10.00 for misc. expenses making a grand total of $70.00 USD spent. Nice!
